Pep Guardiola doesn't feel the need to remind his Manchester City players of their responsibilities as professional footballers in light of the indecent exposure allegations against Kyle Walker.
Walker is being investigated by Cheshire Police over allegations he indecently exposed himself in a Wilmslow bar. The alleged incident is said to have happened on Sunday after City's 2-0 Premier League win over Newcastle.
A national newspaper released security camera footage from the bar on Wednesday – and Cheshire Police are now investigating the matter.
Earlier on Friday, Guardiola said City had spoken to Walker, but stressed that the alleged incident was a private matter. Expanding on his comments, he offered the club's protection when it came to their players' private lives, while conceding they should also know they are never in private settings aside from their own homes.
