Pep Guardiola teased he could yet extend his stay at Manchester City beyond nine years after Jurgen Klopp's shock resignation.
Klopp called time on his Anfield career on Friday morning, announcing that he would be leaving at the end of the season after nearly a decade at the helm.
The news shocked teams around the Premier League, and Guardiola paid his own tribute as he said City would find it more difficult to judge their achievements without their biggest rival.
Klopp spoke about being low on energy as he gave the reasons for his departure, and while Guardiola hasn't spoken to his colleague and rival about it he also felt like he needed a break when he was at Barcelona.
