Pep Guardiola believes Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has got Manchester United back on the right track after admitting he never expected City to have such a commanding advantage over their rivals in the Premier League.
The Blues are 15 points clear of United ahead of Sunday's Old Trafford derby and that continues a trend that has been present throughout Guardiola's four-year stay at the Etihad.
City finished nine points ahead of United in the Catalan's first season in charge, then 19 points clear a year later when they won the league with a century of points.
Last season the advantage was a massive 32 points and again this term Guardiola's side have bragging rights over the Premier League table.
