Manchester City have reportedly tabled an offer for 16-year-old centre-back Luka Vuskovic of Hajduk Split. The defender, who was born in 2007, is being tipped to have a bright future at the top level of the game and is said to have attracted interest from various big names across Europe.
Despite his tender age, the starlet towers at 6ft 4in and became the youngest player to feature in the Croatian top flight when making his debut in February.
Any deal for Vuskovic would have to be done through respected agent Pini Zahavi and a bidding war for his client is expected. The offer is yet to receive a response from Hajduk. It’s unclear whether Pep Guardiola would want to add him to the first team or allow him time in the academy set-up.
