Pep Guardiola did not rule out a January exit for Kalvin Phillips as the Manchester City player considers his options ahead of Euro 2024.
Phillips has barely started for the Blues since his move from Leeds in the summer of 2022 and only played in one of the three games that Rodri was unavailable to play in.
Gareth Southgate has continued to select Phillips in his England squad and the midfielder started in the 3-1 win over Italy that confirmed their qualification for next year's tournament, yet the manager and player have spoken about the need for Phillips to be getting regular minutes.
Speaking on Tuesday night, Phillips said: "I want to play football and want to play as much as possible. Over the last year-and-a-half I haven't been able to do that due to injuries and [other factors].
