In his pre-match press conference on Monday, Guardiola told reporters he would try to give all players game time in the final two league games against Watford and Norwich in order to have all squad members fresh to face Real Madrid on August 7.
He had said: "We are going to make some changes, some players who played the semi-final are going to play but we are going to play the next two games I will try to let all of them play.
