Pensioner prisoner who carried out 'heinous' reign of terror dies in Scots jail

A Scots prisoner has died in jail while serving a 22-year sentence for historic sexual offences. Alex Daly died at HMP Addiewell, in West Lothian, last week.The Scottish Prison Service has confirmed the 66-year-old, from Scotter, Lincolnshire, had passed away on June 1.

He was jailed in September 2023 at Grimsby Crown Court.He was found guilty of charges spanning an eight-year period between the 1990s and early 2000s.
