msn.comPenny Lancaster wasn't called upon to demonstrate her culinary skills. And as the wife of Rod Stewart, it seems that's still the case.
Appearing on Celebrity Masterchef last night, she revealed that Sir Rod, a fan of fine dining, employs a chef at home. Though Miss Lancaster, 50, may not be an expert, she certainly gave it her best shot on the programme.
At one point, as she attempted the banh xeo crepe recipe she could even be heard resorting to an incantation to try to give her pancake a lift. ''Magic, magic, toil and trouble, give me a few little bubbles,' she said.
The results were visually disappointing but this particular challenge gave all the contestants a headache. And co-presenter Gregg Wallace told her: 'Penny you haven't done.
