Viewers of new ITV drama The Pembrokeshire Murders were left on the edge of their seats over a huge cliffhanger at the end of this evening's episode.
The three-part series follows newly promoted Detective Superintendent Steve Wilkins, played by Luke Evans, taking the reins of a cold murder case from the 80s.
In 1985, siblings Richard and Helen Thomas were slain in a double killing and just four years later, Peter and Gwenda Dixon were murdered.
The murders were known as the Pembrokeshire murders, or the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path murders, but Welsh serial killer John Cooper was convicted in May 2011 of the double murders.
