Actress Sophie Winkleman, best known for her role in the comedy series Peep Show, stood alongside her royal relatives on Monday as they attended the Queen’s funeral to bid her majesty a final farewell.
The 42 year old star is married to Lord Frederick Windsor, the son of the Queen’s cousin Prince Michael of Kent, and appeared alongside him at Westminster Abbey on Monday.The couple also attended the vigil at the Lying-In-State over the weekend.
Sophie was seen walking into the church wearing a black wide-brimmed hat featuring a matching black bow on the front, before taking her seat alongside other relatives of the late monarch Sophie became a firm favourite among many comedy fans when she played 'Big Suze', the love interest of Robert Webb’s character Jeremy, in long-running Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show, which also starred David Mitchell.
The show ran between 2003 and 2015 and was written by screenwriting heavyweight Jesse Armstrong, who has gone on to create the acclaimed HBO drama Succession starring Brian Cox.
