I think we’ve got the best British actors all in one place. The stuff that I’m watching, the rushes, the assemblies, no one will be disappointed.“It’s a quite incredible thing.
It’s a very fitting way to end this part of the story.”The movie comes after the BBC’s Peaky Blinders TV show ended with its sixth season in 2022.
Written by Knight and directed by Peaky season one’s Tom Harper, it will see Cillian Murphy back on screen as Birmingham gangster family leader Tommy Shelby, alongside other returning cast members Stephen Graham and Sophie Rundle.There will also be some new faces amongst the Shelbys, including Saltburn and Bird’s Barry Keoghan, Dune and Silo’s Rebecca Ferguson, Tim Roth and Jay Lycurgo, who join the cast in still-unknown roles.
