Paul Wesley & William Shatner Team Up for Special 'Star-Trek' Moment at San Diego Comic-Con 2022
justjared.comPaul Wesley is showing his support for William Shatner! The pair posed together at San Diego Comic-Con 2022 at Theatre Box on Thursday (July 21) in San Diego, Calif. William, who originated the role of Captain Kirk on Star Trek: The Original Series in the 1960s, was honored with a special handprint ceremony at the event. Paul plays Captain Kirk in Paramount+’s spinoff series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and came out to support the 91-year-old actor.
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is “based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series follows Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S.
