Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has suggested Jadon Sancho would benefit from the Reds signing a 'better' right-back in the summer transfer window.
Sancho has so far struggled at Old Trafford since joining United from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2021 for around £73million.
He spent time away from the first-team squad earlier this season, with Reds boss Erik ten Hag admitting the England international was not physically or mentally in the right state to play.
The 22-year-old was reintroduced to the squad in February and got on the scoresheet twice last month in the Premier League - against Leeds United and Leicester City.
