Manchester United made it four wins on the spin thanks to a pulsating 3-1 victory over Arsenal at Old Trafford. Marcus Rashford's brace secured the points for Erik ten Hag's side after Bukayo Saka had cancelled out debutant Antony's opener.
But the scoreline belied what was for the most part a tight contest. In the end though United edged it and despite a fine performance from Mikel Arteta's side, it brought an end to their 100 per cent start to the new Premier League season.
On Sky Sports, pundit Roy Keane took umbrage with fellow analyst Paul Merson showering the Gunners with praise. Keane said: "Arsenal coming here and getting plaudits – when I was here and teams may come and have a good game but I never bothered about the plaudits, I was bothered about the points.
