Marcus Rashford (born 31 October 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Manchester United and the England national team.
A Manchester United player from the age of seven, he scored two goals on both his first-team debut against Midtjylland in the UEFA Europa League in February 2016 and his Premier League debut against Arsenal three days later.
He also scored in his first Manchester derby match, his first EFL Cup match and his first UEFA Champions League match. With United, Rashford has so far won the FA Cup, EFL Cup, FA Community Shield and UEFA Europa League.
Manchester United face Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday with both sides looking to claim the first available trophy of the season.
United haven't brought silverware back to Old Trafford since their 2017 Europa League triumph, and Erik ten Hag has a chance this weekend to fulfil one of his first promises at the first time of asking.
The Reds go into the weekend buoyed by progression into the last-16 of the Europa League, having beaten Barcelona 2-1 in the second leg on Thursday.
That clash, however, means that United have had only two full days to prepare for the final while Newcastle have been focused on Wembley since Sunday.
