Paul Gascoigne has revealed he failed a psychological evaluation for the British version of I'm A Celeb in 2009. The footballing legend is now joining the Italian version of the show, and is currently isolating in a Milan hotel ahead of jetting to Hondouras to take part in the two month show on a desert island.
Gascoigne explained that during the interview process for the show's UK version he was asked to meet with a psychiatrist He told The Sun : "I did interviews for I’m A Celebrity in the UK but they pre-judged me.
They wanted to sign me for the show, but when it came to speaking to the psychiatrist they really p***ed me off. "I wasn’t happy about that.
