S Club 7 singer Paul Cattermole died from multiple health issues, his death certificate reportedly states. The band member tragically died in April aged just 46, with his passing coming as a huge shock to the rest of the group, his loved ones and S Club's legions of fans. The Express reports that his death certificate states the cause as 'cardiac arrhythmia, acute myocardial ischaemia and severe coronary artery atheroma and intraplaque haemorrhage'.
According to the NHS, an arrhythmia is an “abnormality of the heart's rhythm” which may cause it to beat too slowly, too quickly, or irregularly and can make it difficult to pump blood around the body.
Myocardial ischemia, according to Mayo Clinic, occurs “when blood flow to your heart is reduced, preventing the heart muscle from receiving enough oxygen.” The musician from Wareham in Dorset sadly passed away just weeks after it was revealed the pop group were preparing for a new tour.
Paul previously expressed his excitement for the new tour which will go ahead in October and will now be a tribute to the star.
