billboard.comFast-growing indie promoter and music company Patchwork Presents has partnered with longtime hip-hop and R&B talent buyer Michael Horowitz of Universatile Music."I'm going to help book acts for their venues and festivals -- hip hop and R&B is not something everyone can comfortably do, but I've been doing it for a long time and I'm fluent in it," says Horowitz, who will continue to be based in Arizona.Horowitz has booked acts for Relentless Beats' Goldrush and Phoenix Lights festivals and say he got into music as a fan of of old school skate videos."It's ever evolving and I'm constantly studying and keeping my ear to the ground," he tells Billboard.
