WVID Local 4 reported. The 76-year-old, who has served on Hillsdale College’s board as vice president since 2003, accepted the position following the retirement of chairman William Brodbeck.
Hillsdale College, a private Christian school, was founded in 1844 and is located approximately 70 miles southwest of Ann Arbor.
The Post reached out to Sajak and Hillsdale College for comment. Sajak’s announcement comes mere days after he disclosed he will leave “Wheel of Fortune” at the conclusion of the show’s 41st season. “Well, the time has come.
I’ve decided that our 41st season, which begins in September, will be my last,” the game show host tweeted on Monday. “It’s been a wonderful ride, and I’ll have more to say in the coming months.
