Officers posted a photo of the drinks confiscated from schoolchildren during patrols on Friday. The stash included cans and bottles of beer and cider as well as bottles of vodka and gin, the Liverpool Echo reports.
A spokesperson for Warrington Police posted: "Officers from the South Warrington Policing team are out and about tonight. "Whilst we want year 11 pupils to enjoy their final school day, possession of alcohol will not be tolerated. "Below is a sample of what we have seized from youngsters so far.... #DontDoIt".
