Parents left in stitches after playing brutal Christmas present prank on kids

A mum and dad who played a devastating Christmas prank on their children have divided opinion after sharing the video online - but plenty of people were able to see the funny side.

The parents explained that they let their "video game obsessed" teenage sons open a present early, with the clip showing them peeling back the wrapping paper to discover a genuine PlayStation 5 box.

The pair scream and wrestle each other to floor as their younger sister and parents are left in hysterics at their reaction, as one of the boys says: "I knew it, I smelt it.

It smelt like glory." As the packaging is ripped to shreds, the boys' parents begin to suspiciously laugh a little too hard, and the realisation of what they have done begins to sink in.
