Parents jokingly tape baby to the floor so dad 'can work from home in peace'

Parents around the world are trying to juggle working from home and taking care of their children during coronavirus lockdowns.

It's no easy task, especially when the little ones are running around, bored to death or constantly asking for something. One young couple joked that they had found a solution by taping their nine-month-old baby daughter to the floor.

It was all a gag as the family dealt with the boredom of being stuck in their flat, the mum said, adding that the tape didn't hurt her daughter and no harm came to the child.

The mum, who lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, posted photos showing the girl taped to the floor as her head rests on a pillow.
