Palm Springs Film Festival Sets Dates for 2026 Awards and Screenings
variety.comLauren Coates The Palm Springs International Film Society has set the 37th edition of its annual film festival for Jan. 2 through Jan.
12. The Film Awards will take place on Jan. 2 at the Palm Springs Convention Center. Variety‘s Creative Impact Awards and Directors to Watch brunch will be held on Jan.
3. Film screenings are set to begin on Saturday, Jan. 3 with an opening night presentation, and conclude with best of the fest programming Jan.
12 and Jan. 13. Nearly all of the honorees from the 2025 Film Awards went on to receive Academy Award nominations, including winners Adrien Brody (Desert Palm achievement award), Kieran Culkin (breakthrough performance award, actor ), Mikey Madison (Breakthrough Performance Award, actress) and Zoe Saldana (Vanguard Award).
