When Princess Diana planned her bombshell Panorama interview with her trusted journalist friend Martin Bashir, she made sure to keep it a secret.
Even her butler Paul Burrell didn't know why he was sent to pick Martin up, and he hid him under a blanket as they drove into Kensington Palace.
It was hardly surprising that the Princess of Wales kept it under wraps, as she planned to use the controversial interview to discuss the most private details of her life and to criticise the royal family.
She discussed her affairs, her romantic loves and made comments about the Queen Mother - although these were not aired in the final Panorama show.
