Horrified residents told how mercy crews worked on a Paisley stabbing victim for 30 minutes as he lay bleeding in the street.
The 34-year-old was knifed by a trio of men outside the Jet petrol station on Gleniffer Road in Paisley around 8.20pm on Wednesday night.
Detectives are treating the stabbing as attempted murder. The victim remains in a serious condition at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.
Locals told how a bloody trail was left along cars and the road after the terror unfolded in the 'quiet' residential street.One resident told the Record: "I heard a commotion outside, then I heard sirens and dogs barking.“I took my dog out for a walk and the whole street was shut down.
