Paisley construction firm worker's death "unexplained" as company pays tribute

A construction firm worker has died after taking ill at work in Paisley on Monday afternoon. Police and paramedics rushed to Fulbar Road in the Ferguslie area of town around 3.25pm to assist the man but he tragically passed away not long after their arrival.

The 45-year-old was an employee at City Gate Construction which has a facility on the road. The firm yesterday expressed its “profound sadness” at the death of a “valued colleague”.
