Patrick Kelly, 65, was hauled before the courts in 1984 for what was then-described as ‘indecent touching’ of a little girl under her swimming costume.

He received only a fine for the crime. More than 30 years later, Kelly has been jailed after pleading guilty to three counts of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13.
