A man has been jailed after being found guilty of failing to comply with foreign travel notification requirements. Mason Maxwell, 32, of HMP Forest Bank, was found guilty yesterday at Manchester Crown Court.
The court heard how the requirements had been imposed on Maxwell following a previous conviction of two counts of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity in March 2015.
Maxwell was charged with four counts of failing to comply with the notification requirements - which inform officers of any foreign travel - between September and December last year.
He was arrested on Clowes Street in Salford on January 6 in relation to the breaches. He was also sentenced for breach of a suspended sentence order which was investigated by West Yorkshire Police.
