One of Gary Glitter's victims has shared her terror over claims that he is being considered to move to an open prison. Glitter, whose real name is Paul Gadd, was jailed for 16 years in 2015 for rapes and sex attacks on girls.
Officials are considering whether Glitter should be moved to an open prison as they weigh up whether he is "low risk of harm to the public".
No decision has been made yet. It's claimed he could be moved out of HMP The Verne in Portland, Dorset, in weeks. The paedophile, now 77, could then go on day release and work in the community, and a full release could follow in 2023.
