There has been outrage after a Christmas post box set up for children to send letters to Santa Claus was removed from a shopping centre in Ashton-under-Lyne.

The 'North Pole post box', at the Ladysmith Shopping Centre, on Old Street, has been removed due to incidents of vandalism, the centre announced on social media.
