The original cast of Outnumbered are reuniting for a Christmas special episode to be aired tonight (December 26). Tyger Drew-Honey, 28, plays Jake Brockman in the hit BBC show, which first aired in 2007 and spans five seasons.

It follows Sue and Pete Brockman (Claire Skinner and Hugh Dennis) as they grappled with raising their three children Jake, Ben (Daniel Roche) and Karen (Ramona Marques).

The unruly kids and their flustered parents became a staple watch for many viewers across Britain as it portrayed relatable family-life.

The characters reunited in 2019 for a surprise special episode, so this comes five years on. Written and directed by the show's creators, Guy Jenkin and Andy Hamilton, the BBC have confirmed the 45-minute Boxing Day episode special will show Sue and Pete attempting to get familiar with parenting three adult children while also leading their own lives, eight years since we last saw them.
