Outlander star Sam Heughan has announced a rare treat for homegrown fans. The Balmacllelan-born actor revealed earlier this year he's set to release his first memoir, Waypoints, much to the delight of followers.

But they'll be even happier to learn the news that the 42-year-old is planning to publicise his book with some special in person appearances, one of which is taking place in Edinburgh.Sam, who plays Jamie Fraser in the hit Starz series, will also be taking part in an Evening with Sam Heughan in London in the same week.
