Outlander star nearly destroyed iconic show filming location in huge mishap

Outlander star Sophie Skelton, who plays Brianna MacKenzie has revealed that she nearly knocked down iconic filming location Lallybroch.Lallybroch Castle is the fictional Fraser family's home but in real life it is called Midhope Castle.

Sophie revealed that the mishap occurred when she was sitting behind the wheel of her Brianna's Mustang. Speaking to Parade at SCAD TVFest in Atlanta, Sophie said: "I don't know if I just couldn't reach the pedal very well, but I was stalling the car very much.""And then I hit some black ice and nearly destroyed Lallybroch, which I don't think anybody actually knows that yet, but it happened.

Lallybroch was nearly not standing anymore because I drove my Mustang into the arch."And it appears that Sophie isn't the only Outlander cast member who has had a mishap behind the wheel as her on-screen mother Caitriona Balfehas previously shared that the California DMV declared her "one of the worst drivers" in the state.
