Lauren, who plays Marsali Fraser in Outlander, is swapping her petticoat for something a bit more modern for her new role in Scottish based drama Vigil.
And Lauren isn't the only Outlander to star in the new cast, as she will be joined by Gary Lewis, who plays Collum McDougall.And Outlander fans couldn't wait to see her star in something outside the 18th century show.One said: "Goosebumps!
