Outlander star Lauren Lyle was close to tears as she thanked fans for support following big wins at the Scottish BAFTAs last night.The BAFTA Scotland awards took place in Glasgow on Sunday night, with a star-studded list of attendees including her Outlander co-stars Sam Heughan and Caitríona Balfe, new Dr Who star Ncuti Gatwa and Dougray Scott.
Lauren saw off competition from Izuka Hoyle (Big Boys, Ashley Jensen (Mayflies) and Vinette Robinson (Six Four) to take the best actress in a TV show award.
But it was her shock and disbelief at scooping the audience award on the night that seemed to really leave the Scots star speechless - as she expressed her delight at beating Succession megastar Brian Cox, who was also in the audience, to the accolade.
