Taking to Instagram, the Irish actress shared a video clip of having her 'Claire wig' removed for the final time in the dressing room, as she became visibly emotional and tearful - marking the end of an era for both the cast and fans.The camera then panned around to Heughan, who gave a casual wave as he was sitting in hair and make-up.
Fans took to the comments section as they shared their sadness, "How will I go on without Claire and Jamie?," one fan wrote alongside a sad emoji.One person humorously joked "Sing me a song of a wig that is gone..," playing on a reference from the iconic opening ballad of the show.
