Outlander's Caitriona Balfe has revealed one scene from the show which she believes to be the 'most romantic' moment of the entire Starz series - and of course it's with her on-screen lover Jamie Fraser.The 45-year-old, who plays Clare Fraser, alongside Sam Heughan as her husband Jamie Fraser in the Scots show, has fondly recalled a touching moment from the end of season two which she says has a 'certain magic' to it.In a clip of Caitriona and Sam that was uploaded to the show's official Instagram account in honour of Valentine's Day, the Irish actress recounted one scene shot in an iconic Scottish location that aired back in 2016.She says: "One of the most romantic moments, even though it was also a very sad moment, I think was the little dance to the stones at the end of season two.Sam, who is sitting beside her, agrees: "Aww season two.
The end, yeah. Saying goodbye - wow I think you're right. That was such a beautiful moment wasn't it? And it was so magical being there."Caitriona replies: "I mean that location has a certain magic right?
It's at the foot of Schiehallion. And we put the stones in there and there was a dusting of snow in the morning."Sam replies: "It was such a beautiful moment and we almost sort of choreographed this dance like a waltz almost as Claire goes towards the stones.
