Outlander author Diana Gabaldon has given hope to disappointed fans who are concerned the series may end after the seventh season.
The hit show based on Diana's book series, focussing on the time travelling love story between Jamie Fraser, played by Sam Heughan, and Claire Fraser, played by Caitriona Balfe, is going into its seventh season.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the on-screen adaptation to air its new episodes, after viewers waited almost two years between seasons five and six, which was coined 'Droughtlander'.
Sam, 42, recently confirmed that the seventh instalment isn't likely to air any time soon at as the 18 episode season will still be filming well into next year.
