He then was betrayed by his biological father Chandler Groff who tossed him overboard to die. But, after hitting rock bottom and resorting to drinking, he bounced back with a remarkable act of sacrifice, jumping after Sarah when she was swept by a wave during a massive storm as the Pogues’ boat was approaching the Moroccan coast.
He attacked a militiaman who was about to shoot Sarah and John B. JJ then climbed a tall statue in the desert during a sandstorm to get the Blue Crown for the Pogues.
