Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has issued a warning to fans, just weeks after she returned to our screens with her new show Our Farm Next Door. The TV personality’s agent took to social media to tell viewers to “stay safe” online, revealing that some fake pages had been tricking others by pretending to be related to Amanda or the new show. “Hi all, this is Jo, Amanda’s agent.
Hope you’re all having a good weekend. It’s been brought to my attention this past few days that there are a number of FB pages springing up, which are passing themselves off as being in some way related to Amanda and/or the new series,” it read.
With the Yorkshire Shepherdess’ official Facebook page having over 89,000 followers, Amanda’s agent told fans that there was only one verified channel for the TV star. “This is just a quick note to confirm that this is the one and only official channel (verified with a blue tick) in relation to Amanda, along with the TV series, her books and any public speaking events we organise,” the statement added. “If any FB pages make friend requests as if they were Amanda or anyone else in the family, please do not interact with them, and please do not under any circumstances part with any of your hard-earned money if requested to do so.
