Stars Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt and Robert Downey Jr. all earned acting nods, with Nolan up for director and the 3-hour, R-rated movie the frontrunner for best picture.
Yorgos Lanthimos’ “Poor Things,” starring best actress nominee Emma Stone as a reanimated woman in a “Frankenstein”-esque fable, follows closely behind with 11 nominations.
Martin Scorsese’s “Killers of the Flower Moon,” starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Lily Gladstone and Robert De Niro, earned 10 nods.
