Lin-Manuel Miranda was not prepared for the massive success of the hit song We Don't Talk About Bruno from Disney's latest animated flick, Encanto.The catchy tune became the highest-charting song from a Disney animated film in more than 26 years and has been played more than 100 million times on Spotify, but wasn't nominated for an Oscar because Miranda didn't even submit the song.Miranda wrote eight original songs for the flick and did receive an Academy Award nod for the song Dos Oruguitas, and if he wins the trophy, not only would Lin-Manuel earn his first Oscar, but also EGOT status.

'We aren't kicking anybody,' Miranda said. 'We're kicking ourselves with happiness that people like the songs!
I mean no one could have predicted the success of the soundtrack, much less that Bruno was going to be the one that popped off.'He added: ''You know, when you submit a song for [Oscar] consideration I always think… it's not about whether you win or not, it's about the one that best exemplifies the spirit of the movie itself.
