Orlando Bloom lived a very different lifestyle before he started dating Katy Perry, revealing that was actually celibate for a short while prior to their romance. The Pirates of the Caribbean actor is currently expecting his second child with the Fireworks pop star and they’re also engaged, following his Valentine’s Day proposal last year.

But before he found love again with Katy, 34, Orlando swore himself off sex for six months. According to the actor, his surfer friend Laird Williams encouraged him to try out the new way of living.  ‘Laird said, “If you want to be serious about a relationship, go celibate for a few months and figure it out”.
