The American Society of Cinematographers revealed the nominees for the 2024 ASC Awards, a precursor to the Oscar for Cinematography, and the results were somewhat as expected.
Emphasis on “somewhat.” In the Theatrical Feature Film category, Matthew Libatique (“Maestro”), Robbie Ryan (“Poor Things”), Hoyte van Hoytema (“Oppeneheimer”), and Rodrigo Prieto (“Killers of the Flower Moon”) all earned nominations.
