Only Fools and Horses icon Nicholas Lyndhurst looks completely different in the new Frasier reboot. He is set to appear as a new character in a reboot of US comedy Frasier, where he will join the show's original star Kelsey Grammer as his old college friend-turned-university professor Alan Cornwall.The actor, 62, is making his return to the small screen for the reboot of popular comedy series just years after the death of his son Archie in 2020 following a brain haemorrhage.

But Nicholas is already a household name thanks to his illustrious TV career and is best known for playing Rodney Trotter in the legendary sitcom, Only Fools and Horses.

Nicholas, most famous for playing the younger half brother of Del Boy in the iconic BBC comedy, is now set to play the mischievous and boozy university professor Alan Cornwall in Frasier's sequel.The star looked completely different from his iconic former character in pictures released before the series premiere.

His performance in Only Fools and Horses captured the nation's hearts and even led to three BAFTA nominations.The show, which ran from 1981 until 2003, was even voted Britain's Best Sitcom by TV viewers in a 2004 poll.
