Amanda Louise Holden (born 16 February 1971) is an English media personality, actress, television presenter, singer, and author. She has judged on the television talent show competition Britain's Got Talent since the show began its run in 2007 on ITV. As an actress, Holden played the role of Mel in Kiss Me Kate (1998–2000), Geraldine Titley in The Grimleys (1999-2001), Sarah Trevanion in Wild at Heart (2006–2008), Lizzie, the Ring Mistress, in Big Top (2009), and the title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie, for which she was nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award.

One of the first babies born in 2021 finally home with family after pneumonia battle

Glasgow's first baby of 2021 has finally been able to go home after a desperate battle with pneumonia. Lauren Docherty, 27, and her fiance Brad Girvan, 28, welcomed Finn, Glasgow's first baby of the year, at 1.58am on January 1.

But shortly after delivery the tot was whisked away to neonatal intensive care after being born with pneumonia, reports the Daily Record.

And instead of being able to take him home to meet his big brother Logan at the family’s Drumchapel home little Finn spent the next three days on CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure).

Little Finn was born in the Queen Elizabeth Maternity Unit weighing 8lb 3oz - the exact same birth weight as Logan, 21 months.
