One man dead and a woman injured following serious incident at Ayrshire flats
dailyrecord.co.ukA man has died and a woman was found injured following a disturbance last night in Ayrshire.Around 8.25pm on Tuesday, September 10, police officers were called to a report of a disturbance in the Montgomerie Street area of Ardrossan.Emergency services attended and a 24-year-old woman was found injured outside a block of flats.
She was taken to Crosshouse Hospital in Kilmarnock for treatment.However, a 59 year-old man was also pronounced dead within a flat.
His family is aware.A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries remain ongoing.A police presence remains in the area and anyone with any concerns or information can approach these officers.
