As Team USA celebrates their gymnastics gold this week, eyes will move from the vault to Paris’s lavender-hued track when Sha’Carri Richardson makes her Olympic debut this Friday.
After famously missing the Tokyo Games because of a positive marijuana test at the 2021 Olympic Trials, Richardson will now debut at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games as the favorite in the women’s 100-meter dash.
The first round kicks off Friday, Aug 2 at 2:50 a.m. PT/5:50 a.m. ET. Every track and field event at this year’s Games will broadcast on NBC and stream live on Peacock, the official streaming home to the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.
