Simone Biles delivered a chilling testimony in a US court hearing against the disgraced former US Gymnastics team doctor Larry Nassar, 58, who has been accused of assaulting dozens of young athletes under his care.
The committee has been convened to examine the FBI’s handlings of its investigation into the sports doctor. It is believed that he assaulted hundreds of women and girls while working at the Michigan State and Indiana-based Olympic training facilities.
Four-time Olympic gold medalist Simone was joined by three other champion athletes McKayla Maroney, Aly Raisman and Maggie Nichols at a Senate judiciary hearing and she gave a searing testimony of the abuse she suffered.
