Olympic hero Simone Biles has spoken out about how she should have quit gymnastics long before the Tokyo games after being sexually abused by team doctor Larry Nassar.
The 24-year-old sensationally pulled out of the US team event while battling mental health issues before pulling off an incredible comeback and winning a bronze medal.
Now weeks after her epic win, she has given a raw account of how she should have walked away from the sport before the games after a grueling seven-year period but refused to let Nassar snatch away her dream. ‘If you look at everything, I’ve gone through for the past seven years I should have never made another Olympic team. ‘I should have quit way before Tokyo when Larry Nassar was in the media for two years.
